Plenty of time to pop in!
These beasties have just arrived in Israel to be part of a Plasticine Art Exhibition at the Jaffa Museum. About 50 cm by 30cm in size.

The wonderful Oregon Reads Aloud anthology, put together by SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) is now out in the world. SMART is celebrating 25 years of providing reading support and books to Oregon children with this illustrated book. The book is a compilation of 25 read-aloud stories written and illustrated by Oregon authors and illustrators and I'm so proud to be one of the illustrators. The story I illustrated is called The Day The Puddles Stomped Back, written by Heidi Schulz- so Oregonian!
Just a few of the ladies that will be at Guardino Gallery tomorrow. Opening of annual group show Little Things on Friday, November 25th. Always so much good work to be found there.
So pleased with my newly designed logo. It's got eyeballs! Thank you Andre Metzger!
Just restocked my corner at the Guardino Gallery.
Fire On The Water, the Dragon Boat art show opens this Thursday. It's at Portland'5 Centers for the Arts, 1111 SW Broadway, Portland, OR 97205. Different artists show their take on the theme. Above is my contribution, called On Breakfast Island.
These dudes are excited to be delivered to Portland Nursery. They are already the second lot to travel there this spring- apparently they don't have too much trouble getting adopted.
My sketchbooks through the years have all been decorated so that I can tell them apart. It's great to look back through them and remember the things I was working on at the time. Also a great source of ideas.
When I start a new sketch book I always personalize it on the outside with some paint.
I took a wheel throwing class and brought home some very lopsided pottery. It's hard to make them straight and even, but then again, maybe it doesn't matter as long as there is a sleeping otter on there.
I made a whole bunch of new garden pets. Some of them will be available at Portland Nursery.
Mykle made me this flat file and table top combo for christmas and I re-arranged things in the basement to make space for the new improved photo set-up. A new coat of paint always changes things for the better, especially if it covers the pastel yellow that was there before. This makes me happy!
I designed both the characters and the sets for these three spots for Puget Sound Energy. Mark Gustafson directed. It was fun to work with all my old buddies from House Special again.
To all the lovie dovies out there. Some of these snugglers are on display at Guardino Gallery.
Commission for a duck portrait of beloved pet duck Utya.
